A while back I saw a tweet from a model that said “3 reasons porn stars retire: power, change & bad hookups.” There are a few different reasons why spanking models have retired from spanking since I’ve been in the biz. The number one reason is typically when a model meets a guy who forbids her from shooting anything adult related. The “bad hookups.”
From what I’ve witnessed, often the guy seems to be “cool” with it in the early stages of the relationship, then starts trashing the idea of her shooting porn, and finally just either makes it too miserable for the model to do a shoot, or even forbids her from doing it.
Early in my shooting career, a model (first initial “A”) showed up with her much older (and morbidly obese) boyfriend who would only “allow” her to shoot if he could stay on set while we filmed her. Initially Clare and I said “no” and they went away. But this was an agency model, so she had some pressure to shoot. She came back 20 mins. later and Clare and I softened when she started crying. The guy stayed. For that day. I think I heard she finally dumped this overbearing loser. A model who I had big plans for (initials JR) had a bf who not only convinced her to retire, but she took down everything she could from the web related to her adult biz name (so much for marketing).
Don’t know why Kailee retired
Usually when a model retires, it doesn’t have a big impact unless that model is a regular on the sites. The two biggest for my company were Clare (obviously) and Kailee Robinson. Kailee was such an amazing spanking model, great at spanking and getting spanked, beautiful, with a perfect butt. I shot her whenever she was in town. And when I heard she was moving to my area a few years back, I got excited with the possibility of having her as a regular on a number of sites. But then she retired.

Very interesting…I recall when I contacted you regarding my very first custom with CFWW. My initial idea was to have Ashley Orion and Gia Steel in the video. After I proposed that cast, you then set about trying to book them. Sometime later you regretfully informed me that both models were no longer available. I then offered an alternate, a stunning model named Kimberly Gates from an agency that you were fond of. A few days later you notified me that she too was AWOL.
Lucky for me, the very amazing Alexis Grace was available. And I chose a stunning, brand new model named Chloe Amour, who is now a very popular porn & fetish star, and they did a fantastic job!
Anyway, very interesting post and I always wonder what has become of some of my favorite adult models after they retire suddenly..

Good observations, Ken. Sometimes they drop out and get back in. I heard Ashley Orion is shooting again, though I haven’t been in contact with her for a while.

As you say, always tough to see someone move on, especially if it wasn’t their choice. Nice to hear some updates on some past names! (Apart from the tragic passing of the three you’ve lost…condolences to all who knew them.)

i miss alot of model who retired over years we may hate it when they do retired but it their choice we have respect that too let them live normal life
for Harmony i say good for her move on to real esate wonder if she get people who reconginze her from work doubt she would talk about her spanking past

Mike you can’t really compare spanking models to pro athletes, but I will right now anyway. If Kobe Bryant retired because he finished a nice career, time to move on, fine. If he retired because of injury or death, tragic. If he retired because his girlfriend forced him to retire, well how would that go over?
